On my way to Kailua-Kona
Driving from Hilo to Kailua-Kona on the South Cost line for my last night on Big Island in Kailua-Kona
First stop was a 1h hike to the beach in this bay that is full of 'Green' Sand
Green sand from minerals in the surrounding see makes this beach look green
The most southern point of the US is here on big island
The last sunset on big island right in front of my hostel
Night snorkeling with 2+ meter wide manta rays that came very close
On my last full day on Big Island I drove from Hilo to Kailua-Kona along the South coast. I stopped for a 1 hour hike to the Green Sand beach and visited the Southern most point of the US (no it is not in Florida!).
In the evening I enjoyed the last sunset on Big Island before heading to the harbor to go snorkeling with Manta Rays that they feed by attracting plankton with UV light
