Visiting the North Shore

This day we drove all the way north. We stopped at a pineapple plantation on the way and got some free samples of some verry good pineapple.

We started of with a short hike up to a bunker and a view point on the north shore before exploring the beach where we spotted some turtles in the water. Unfortunately it wasn't the main surf season so the big waves and surf pros didn't came

But once we came back to Honolulu we discovered the Aloha festival that was happening that day whit 4 stages of music and hula dances as well as food and drinks. A truly Hawaii experience!
